At PAD Diagnostics echocardiography with cardiac Doppler is used to capture detailed views of the heart and assess blood flow through the chambers, valves, and vessels. This test helps us evaluate:
-
Causes of abnormal heart sounds, chest pain, shortness of breath, or irregular heartbeats
-
The thickness, motion, and overall health of the heart muscle
-
Heart valve structure and function, including artificial valves
-
Size, shape, and pumping ability of the heart’s chambers
-
Conditions affecting the heart muscle and its ability to circulate blood
-
Presence of blood clots, tumors, or other abnormalities inside the heart
This non-invasive test is a critical tool for diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions with accuracy and care.
